Please note that under the Licensing Act 2003, if alcoholic beverages are to be sold, the hirer is required to submit a Temporary Events Notice (TEN) to South Cambridgeshire District Council and the Cambridgeshire Constabulary. Whittlesford Memorial Hall declines all responsibility if the hirer fails to submit a notice as required by The Act or acts in breach of that notice. Given that the Hall is only permitted to host a limited number of TEN events per year, Penny needs to be informed if you intend to sell alcohol at your event.
